"Blasphemy Made Flesh" remains the band's signature and one of the best debuts in the history of Death Metal. It should be understood that as of 1994, Death Metal was experiencing the best of times in Europe and America, the most reputable bands on both sides of the Atlantic released their best albums and rested on the laurels of the pioneers of the genre. It seemed that there would be no new trends, someone began to flirt with the mixing of genres in search of a more interesting form of music, whether it was borrowing from hardcore or elements of industrial... and this list can be supplemented. So then, literally out of nowhere, a young Canadian band appears and presents a serious kick to the established form of Death Metal. This album is a very decisive and seminal release. He is original, unique, on this record the band did absolutely everything in their own way: sound, songwriting, expressive and sick vocals. On the one hand, by all indications, the band is part of the pantheon of Death Metal, but this album cannot be compared with anything either before or after. Maybe back then the young guys were inspired by the old school of metal or the new wave of more extreme metal like Death or Grind, but they were able to rethink these things and create something individual.
