Deep within the bowels of New Zealand an eldritch entity has slumbered dormant...until now. 

Ifrit have grudgingly awoken, vengeful and seething with cosmic malevolence, their fearsome talents bent solely towards the destruction of humanity via ravaging occult death metal.

 The entity known as Ifrit was formed within the alchemical essences of a number of other groups such as Exordium Mors, Nystagmus, Ardens Rejectio, Scorn of Creation and Dark Divinity.

 In four tracks fuelled with alchemical flame, with Haunting Charnel Grounds Ifrit seek only unholy conflagration and to inflict suffering through eternal fire.
